Markets are always a great place to pick up a bargain, browse through items or just stroll around and see the unique wares people are selling. The Kerbside Lane Markets is just the place to do that in July.

Among the many stalls that are set up in this market, locals sell art, homemade, designer and vintage clothing, and many more accessories. There is a large variety of items to be bought, many of which are unique and interesting to see. The Kerbside Lane Markets are a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon. As an added bonus, for the first time there will be live music playing throughout the afternoon.

There will also be a free sausage sizzle towards the end of the day, and other tasty food is available to purchase throughout the markets. So come and enjoy the markets on a Sunday afternoon, and remember, you will always be able to pick up a bargain at the market. The Kerbside Lane Markets are held almost every month, and are located in the heart of Brisbane City, at the corner of Constance and Ann Street. Entry to the markets is free, and open to people of all ages. Check out their Facebook page for more details and markets in the coming months.

I've visited the Kerbside Markets a few times and have always found the stall holders to be very friendly and the stalls themselves full of quirky things.

There's a great mix of vingtage clothing, shoes, handbags and home wares. Then there is the designer side of things, the stalls vary widely in this component - there are cute softies, handbags, clothing, jewellery, artworks and lots of other things depending on who is there on the day.

The market isn't huge, but has some great stuff. It's on the 2nd Sunday of every month from 12noon (yay....you don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to get some bargains). The entrance is in Ann Street, it's just a little lane behind the Fringe Bar and Kerbside Bar. Pop into the Kerbside Bar next door for lunch or a coffee after checking the markets.
