This annual event brings hundreds to this Barossa fringe town. The event has grown over the years and it is worth the drive to check out all the garage sales which would take a whole day to get around to many of them. There are now over 70 residences who participate. You can find everything here, such as things for the garden, plants, furniture, household goods, loads of kids toys and lots of shed clean outs.

The first place you need to stop at is the Visitor Centre in the middle of the main street, as here is the location maps for sale. It pays to get a map so you can mark the areas off as you drive around. Also, there may be some properties out of town so do get a map as the $2 goes to local charity. The BBQ sausage sizzle will be ready with food to go to boost your busy morning ahead. And there are plenty of cafes and two bakeries to have a lunch break later on.

All in all, a great day out. You may want to see some attractions in this heritage mining town after your bargain hunting. Take the turn off on the Sturt Highway to Kapunda, just after the Gawler Bypass.
