There's nothing better than starting off your weekday morning with live music. That's something the Shire of Kalamunda's Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre ( KPAC ) recognises. That is why KPAC's Morning Music concert series is so popular. For only $15 ($10 for groups of ten or more) you are assured a top quality music performance by some of Perth's best entertainers on the first Wednesday of every month in Kalamunda's most well-known intimate theatre venue.

Coming up on March 1st, Joyce Mathers & Avenue are presenting a Dusty Springfield and Doris Day concert including such classics as Doris Day's 1956 classic Que Sera Sera and Dusty Springfield's unforgettable 1968 hit Son of A Preacher Man. Joyce Mathers & Avenue are regulars at The Ellington and Little Creatures Next Door and will have you smiling.

On April 5th, lovers of blues will be treated to a range of romantic and soulful blues classics in the show "Chocolate Bluesman" presented by a local entertainer who has appeared on national television (X Factor, Telethon, The Couch ) and sold out shows at Fringe World and His Majesty's Theatre. "Chocolate Bluesman" includes hits by Aretha Franklin, Billie Holiday, Ray Charles, Bill Withers, Nat King Cole, and Nina Simone performed with a live band.

In May, Moira J Scott and Bobby Adams, will bring their stylish cabaret experience to the stage covering hits by such beloved artists as Elvis, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Neil Diamond, and Streisand. This is yet another example of KPAC's excellence in choosing acts that will not leave audiences disappointed.

On June 7, Mike Peden's show "Dean Martin & Friends" brings to the stage his love of crooners like Sinatra and Bobby Darin. Performing songs like That's Amore and New York, New York, this show is definitely suited for all those lovers of nostalgia.

So whether you are a lover of the soulful and romantic blues of Ray Charles and Nat King Cole, the joy and verve of Doris Day and Dusty Springfield, or you are a fan of Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline or the Rat Pack, KPAC's Morning Music Series has something for you. A ticket to one of these shows is a gift to memory lane so book yours today.
