The Jungle Giants will be performing at The Gov on October 19th as part of their Learn to Exist album tour.
Learn to Exist, released on the 30th of August, is the Jungle Giants debut album following two EPs. Only a week after its release Learn to Exist became number one on the Australian Independent Record charts.
The album features eleven songs including popular single
I Am What You Want Me To Be as well as other catchy tracks
Skin to Bone and
Come and Be Alone With Me.
The Jungle Giants are no strangers to performing at the Gov and will be supported by two Triple J unearthed bands; Northeast Party House from Melbourne and The Creases from Brisbane.
Like their support acts The Jungle Giants also feature as a Triple J unearthed artist and have had great success since their first performance in February 2011.
Recent success includes playing at this year's Splendour in the Grass Festival, including Splendour Spin Off Festivals, and single from their second EP
She's A Riot being voted number 80 in Triple J's 2012 Hottest 100.
The Jungle Giants are made up of Sam Hales (vocals/guitar), Cesira Aitken (lead guitar), Andrew Dooris (bass guitar/backing vocals) and Keelan Bijker (drums).
The Gov provides an intimate venue for the band's first album tour which is sure to be a crowd pleaser for both new and old fans.
The event is all ages and tickets can be purchased through
Moshtix for $32.
