It is hard, as you whip through the roundabout at Kenmore on Moggill Road, to really notice anything but traffic. However, should you take a walk you will be amazed what you will discover along the way.

Julia's Pantry , now opened since November, 2013, is one such place that is waiting for you to discover them. Lots of substance awaits you inside.

The lovely, bright, open, rustic, country atmosphere invites you in to check out what Julia and her team have prepared for you.

Large display tables filled with wares give you cause to pause.

Slowly moving around the room you find on offer all kinds of hand crafted items to help you out in the kitchen. Aprons, making a comeback, come in all kinds of patterns and colours. Pot holders and trivets have been lovingly knitted by someone with an adept hand.

There is a vast array of colourful, aromatic spices to use in your own dishes. Pastas and muesli are arranged on shelves, come find your favourites and top up your pantry. With grains, and seeds you can grow your own mung beans and chick peas, making a great addition to your kitchen. A selection of teas will find you experimenting with ones that you may not have tried before.

Locally sourced and fresh produce includes honey, olive oil and jams.

With everything made from scratch, freshness doesn't get any better than this. You can pop in on your way by and pick something up for dinner if you are on the go. The girls work hard and bring you all kinds of homemade wonders to enjoy, Banana Spice Loaf, for instance.

There are a number of cook books for you to peruse, giving you all kinds of glorious ideas. There is also a shelf full of cookbooks for you to purchase, so you can take one or more home and page through while enjoying your tea.

You will find things also in store for those with food intolerances.

For those of you in need of learning the how and why of cooking certain items, Julia and her team also offer cooking classes on a monthly basis. Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30pm the room transforms and the lovely country inspired tables become dining tables and work stations. Check out the website for all the information and calendar of classes.

Do you need a cake, tarts or squares for tomorrow and too busy to bake it? Give them a call and they can prepare it for you. Need more? They do catering as well.

So slow yourself down, at the roundabout in Kenmore, walk in and help yourself to the feast of wares at Julia's Pantry.
