Jubilee Park is a medium sized park in the suburb of Glandore, it is a fun place to take the kids and an interesting park to visit. There is a playground for young ones to enjoy, and small bike and walking paths that surround the outside of the park. This is a great park to head to as a family, as it has a little something for everyone.

The playground is the highlight of the park. It is set up to look like an old steam train, with various carriages pulled behind them. It still features all your usual playground fare, and has games, slides, and swings. On top of the usual fun equipment, children will love climbing aboard and becoming the conductor for a day. It is well suited to children of all ages, as there are things for both older and younger children to play on. You can keep an eye on the playground from all around the park, so you are always able to watch your children play.

Another fun activity is heading along either the bike trail or the bush trail. Neither is very long, but both are a unique experience. The bike track is set up with arrows along the ground for you to follow, and runs at the southern end of the park. There are variations in the path so that you can experience different terrains as you ride. This is perfect for younger children who are just learning to ride, as they can gain confidence in different situations, while still being in a safe environment. The bush trail heads in the other direction, and takes you through a garden of native vegetation. This is a relaxing walk where you can silently ponder as you walk.

There is a large area of grass that would be perfect for ball games. If you bring along a footy or soccer ball you'll be able to have a game with the kids. There are no ball games allowed, so don't think about having a hit of a golf ball. The space is also well suited to kite flying, or throwing frisbees. You might want to use the grass as the seating spot for your picnic. Bring along a picnic blanket and set up your lunch on the grass, or head to one of the undercover picnic tables to eat your lunch under some shade. There is also a barbecue so that you can cook up a hot lunch if you'd like.

Jubilee Park is a well facilitated park, that is really fun for families. It is especially recommended for people with younger children, as they can have a great time in a very safe environment.
