If you are a lover of fine Chinese cuisine then why not give the a try? Located in Fremantle overlooking the famous Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour, diners can enjoy the sunset as well as the fine food.

Joy Kitchen is well liked and always busy, it's the perfect place for a great meal whether it's a birthday or special occasion or a dinner for two.

This family friendly restaurant has an extensive menu containing all your favourite Chinese dishes and the prices are reasonable too. They also have a good wine list which includes some lovely local and imported wines, however, beer and spirits drinkers will be happy with the drink options available.

The food is generously portioned at Joy Kitchen, so if you go to dinner with family or friends and plan to share dishes 'family style' keep this in mind. There are plenty of entrées, Chicken Satay Sticks ($12.50 for 4 pieces), Spring Rolls ($8.00 for 3 pieces) and Prawns on Toast ($11.50 for 4 pieces) are always a big hit. They have lots of variety when it comes to main dishes, I highly recommend the Boneless Lemon Chicken ($21.50), Sizzling Garlic Prawns ($27.50) or the Chinese Roast Pork Belly with Mushrooms and Leek ($27.50). For dessert, you should try the Copa Bianco - Chocolate and Vanilla ice-cream rolled in crushed nougat ($8.00) something a bit different, very yummy, not too sweet and a nice way to finish off a meal.

At Joy Kitchen, they have a variety of banquet options available, so if you're dining with a group of people you might like to try one of those options. Joy Kitchen can also cater for special occasions. The take away menu is, of course, slightly cheaper and contains somewhat different food options.

Joy Kitchen has been a Fremantle favourite since 1966 and you can see why - the décor is elegant and traditional, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and the staff are well trained and make sure that diners are well looked after.
Open for Lunch: Wednesday to Friday, 11:30am - 2.30pm and Dinner: Monday to Sunday, 5pm – 10pm. The Joy Kitchen is a fully licensed restaurant but it is possible to BYO wine.

So whether you plan to dine-in or grab a quick take-away you can be sure that the food from Joy Kitchen will be excellent and you will enjoy every mouth-watering morsel.
