The Jamestown Show will be the perfect event to conclude your October Labour Day long weekend. On Monday 3rd October, the entire township is set to come alive with the fun and excitement of the annual show. From 10am in Victoria Park, you can join the locals and a number of visitors to experience the joys and enthusiasm of this small country region. Jamestown is approximately 200km North of Adelaide, making it just under a three hour car trip.



At the 2016 extravaganza, there is set to be sheep shearing, sideshow alleys, animal judging and prizes, arts and crafts, fashion parades, kids entertainment, show rides, horse demonstrations, local wine and produce, photography competitions, wool exhibitions, bars, and more. This year, there are even places for laser skirmish, free face painting, and motor bike stunt artists. There will be something of interest for people of ages and interests.



The organisers of the event and the locals in Jamestown believe their show is the best agricultural show in all of South Australia. The only way for you to approve or deny their statement is to the head on up for the day and experience the entertainment for yourself. Families are bound to have a wonderful time at the event. It is an opportunity for kids to learn about and encounter the laid back country lifestyle.
