In 1985, the United Nations declared August 12th as International Youth Day . It's to remind the community the importance of this 'youthful' stage of life when the young are going through life's challenges and finding their identity. During this celebration, the youth are at the centre, and are the collective attention the world over.

Western Europe's definition of youth are boys and girls between the ages of 13 and 21. To celebrate International Youth Day and in aid of providing a simple approach for individuals to attain physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being, this meditation workshop is presented free of charge for the young, and the young at heart.

Everyone is welcome and there's no booking required. It's suitable for both complete beginners and regular meditators. There's no physical exercises, postures or special clothing required and chairs are provided, as is some light refreshments. Come along and learn how to develop and sustain 'meditation skills for life'.
