Located within the Mitcham Cultural Village (1 Torrens Street, Mitcham), Gallery One is an independent and non for profit art gallery. This space, promotes and exhibits the works of local artists and crafts people, in order to engage and connect the community, whilst giving aspiring artists a platform to take off and invade the world with more beauty and significance.

This Friday 4th of September at 6pm will be the official opening of "Image- Guardian of Truth", a photographic exhibition; presented by Gavin Blake, founder of The Centre for Creative Photography and curated by Snezana Swarbrick and Sonja Durmanovic.

The exhibition will be running from the opening day until the 25th of September.



For those who are new to Gallery One, this is a great opportunity to admire this beautiful space and get information on their art classes and short courses .

Image: Guardian of Truth, promises an evening full of great photography, accompanied by nibbles, drinks and music throughout the night. So if you enjoy the art scene, photography or community events, head to Gallery One this Friday and see the world through someone else's lens.
