All of the fresh fruit hampers are
delivered in a wooden box that offers great protection for the fruit, so you can be sure everything will arrive just as the fruit artist packed it. These boxes, in fact, are as much a part of the gift as the food itself; they're sturdy, a very decent size and are made to be reused for things like storage and herb gardens (it's a gift that keeps on giving really).
Inside the boxes, fruit is packed in a single layer on a bed of straw, with tissue paper as padding. Over the top is a layer of bubble wrap. This photo was taken as soon as I uncovered the fruit: everything looks perfect.
