iFly Singapore Indoor Skydiving Simulator

There is a saying that 'angels can fly because they carry no burdens' and I can tell you, from experience, that it is definitely elating! Top of your list of attractions in Singapore should be iFly on Sentosa. Book ahead, so you don't miss out and allow at least two hours. There is training and check-in procedure to cover before you take to the wind tunnel. Lace up shoes are a must by the way.
iFly is technically indoor skydiving but the feeling to me, as I floated above the instructor, was as if I was flying. It was easy enough for my 8 year old to do, as well as his fearful mother! (minimum age is 7)
You can pre-book your photos and DVDs at a discounted rate. I thoroughly recommend doing this. We only booked the photos, and I really regret not getting the DVD as well. Just thinking about the experience brings a smile to my face.
If you live in Singapore, book a training package that includes many visits. You work through a skills list but the end result is unbelievable!
As it's on Sentosa, I'd book for the morning session and then head off to lunch, or afternoon and then head off to dinner. It's open after dinner too but remember, you can't drink and fly.
Of all the things we did in Singapore over the ten days of our visit, iFly was the highlight for all of us, adults and children alike. I am currently looking to return purely for the exhilarating experience - and this time I'll get the DVD of me.
