With the colder months approaching, now is the perfect time to enjoy the ice rink. Considering most people are already starting to rug up anyway, it seems a waste not to have some subzero fun.

Macquarie Shopping Centre the ice rink is a fun, affordable way to pass an hour or two on the weekend. Prices are $18 for a child under 16, $19 for a student and $20 for an adult, skate hire included. Get there around lunch time and take advantage of the lunch time special, with all patrons paying $15 between 11:30am and 1pm. There are many excellent places to eat in an around Macquarie Centre, so this is the best time to skate. There are many other special deals and events on offer, including the Friday night disco and the Saturday night kids only session.
The rink also provides skating and figure skating lessons, with prices starting at about $60 an hour.
