This popular garden centre is located on the corner of Cadell Street and Kessell Road in the historic town of Goolwa. For most people who live in the suburbs it may be a bit out the way, but is well worth a visit when you are in a browsing mood, if you need a very particular item for your garden or if you simply love buying and looking at all sorts of greenery and flowers.

The is much more than just a nursery shop; staff are friendly and helpful to provide information or assistance and you will find anything for your new garden design or something to add a bit more life to your already established space.I recommend you go with plenty of time, as this is a pleasant place to visit and it is also fairly big.

is divided into large sections, with huge varieties of ferns, small fruit trees, flowers, water plants, vegetable seedlings, tropical plants and rare species. This one stop shop also stocks many different pots in all sizes, colours and materials, if you are after some garden ornaments and decorations, you will also be spoilt for choice, from cute animal statues, to more contemporary designs or rustic objects.

If all of the above does not catch your eye, you can also find a dedicated section stocked by their sister store "The Honey Shoppe and Soapbox" with all sorts of skin care, candles, incense, soaps and natural cleaning products sold in bulk (make sure to bring some jars, bags or plastic containers to save a few pennies on packaging). If you would rather make your own products at you can also buy raw products for DIY, shea butter, cocoa butter, natural clays, waxes, candle wicks, essential and fragrance oils, etc.

For those who enjoy local South Australian honeys don't forget to bring a few jars so you can purchase exactly the amount you need. Blue gum and orange blossom are just some of the lovely honeys brought to you by The Gilberts; a South Australian family who specialises in beekeeping and bee products.

So whether you are into gardening, natural products, honey or garden décor, you can find it all at the Ibis Garden Centre. Just to top it all, they also have a huge chicken coop with lovely fluffy hens and a very loud rooster to amuse yourself and the kids! Pay them a visit, you will not leave empty handed or empty hearted.
