An awesome comedy hit about a woman called Kate Reddy (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) an finance/investment banking executive who is juggling both career and family; basically the breadwinner for her husband Richard and her two children ages 6 and 2 respectively.
It is amazing to discover how Kate really does it without giving too much away; and yet we are all left wondering; I Don't Know How She Does It.
Kate's job is like anyone's at an executive level - interstate travel at short notice, long hours, high energy, endless meetings and numerous proposals, yet she manages to pull it all off despite many trips to New York in particular (her home base is in Boston). Thankfully there is the nanny, although she shows up late many times.
The joys of parenthood are also fully explored, yet Kate manages to keep her job and family life in tact despite life's ups and downs. Things get really interesting when she succeeds on a major proposal, while her husband also scores a win through his architecture work simultaneously.
Really quality entertainment for 89 minutes for what it's really worth. Even if you have children or perhaps your not that way inclined - either way this film is great, fresh entertainment where you can leave your zone for a couple of hours before getting back into reality. Worth seeing and expect the unexpected from pregnancies to hair lice.
