However, Husband is well worth finding for his friendly service, well-made coffee, baked delights, and quietly inviting atmosphere that has a sense of light and space. Local patrons drop in for their take-away coffee, while others sit in for a beverage and something quick to eat. It is difficult not to linger longer.
There is an interesting selection of condiments and specialty foods for sale at the front of the café, which are worth a browse on your way in or out.
Husband appears to be wheelchair accessible and pram accessible, but you may want to call and check before dropping by. Free time-limited parking is usually available. Buses and tram route 72 run past the front of the café. Hawksburn Railway Station is nearby.
