One of my favourite parts of the hummus experience when I went there with my wife, was the
instruction card, which pointed out the various methods of eating hummus dishes, and what it said about you. Now, I appreciate that this is maybe not so exciting for some, and maybe it says something about my ability to delight in the simple pleasures - but I did actually find myself scanning around the room, observing different people's eating techniques, and making my own judgements about them. i always admire people who find a niche and make it work, and this dedication to hummus is very much in that category - it is still probably the only restaurant dedicated to hummus in London, and probably further afield.
There are options for lunch and dinner, eat-in and takeaway - and their philosophy is evident on the signage and the t-shirts worn by the staff - so why don't you pay heed to their message and 'give peas a chance'?
