There are lots of great spin offs from ACMI's current Hollywood Costume Exhibition .

A good one for kids is the forthcoming Hollywood Costume Superhero Day. This is held because the exhibition features the costumes of Superman, Batman and Spider-Man.



This subsidiary activity is a free event which will delight all those wannabee superheroes.

There is a chance to come up with your own animated superhero character and make your own animated movie using ACMI's equipment.



There is a Cape and Cuffs drop in workshop where kids can create their own unique costume

You can also head to Studio 1 where your new persona can learn how to fly and show just how strong you are with the help of ACMI'S green screen studio. Anyone who has been to Movieworld will probably already know some of the secrets.



Kids are encouraged to come in their best superhero costumes - these can be simple or you can go tall out. There are some great prizes on offer.

This Youtube video will give you some basics that you could elaborate on. Op shops are great places to pick up an old t-shirt to make the cape with.

This is a great activity because you not only get an outing but get to do some preparation together as well.
