'A History of the World in 100 Objects' at Western Australian Museum

This exhibition is a must-see, if only for the cultural and historical experience.

A bit on the expensive side at $17.50pp, but it won't come again.

It's an eerie experience. The gold artefacts gleam under the muted lighting and the amazing sculptures of pharos and eastern deities make you feel a trifle uneasy.

After all, they are incredibly old and if they could, would have a lot to tell. Tales of terror, submission and fear, as the people of that time worshiped these gods and were humbled by the enormous power, wealth and authority of these almost magical leaders.

We were very quiet when we left, the experience leaving us with many thoughts.

We should all experience the old world and its culture more often so as to realise what a great world we live in today.
