Hide n Seek Childrens Trail

Home > Things to do in Brisbane > Walks | Fun for Children
Published December 17th 2010
The rainforest is full of hidden delights that are hidden from plain view for those who don't look carefully enough. Next time you're at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Cootha, (Mt Cootha Road, Mt Cootha), take a closer look to find some of these treasures.

The Brisbane Botanic Gardens Hide N Seek Children's Trail is an easy walk through the Australian Rainforest section of the garden. Collect a map at the start of the trail (or download one here) to help you find the animals and other surprises hiding under plants and dirt. Items on the checklist include bamboo, a fern fiddlehead, bush turkeys and water dragons. The map also contains a quiz and colour in picture for children to complete afterwards.

The Hide N Seek Children's Trail is an enchanting and educational trek through shady rainforest.
