After an early morning session of yoga in the park I head on up to the new Helensvale Farmers Market. Just imagine a smorgasbord of locally grown produce including mangos, figs and tomatoes, gourmet meats, sausages, nuts, honey, sweets, treats including freshly cooked donuts, bread and so much more, all just waiting to be picked and devoured. Doesn't it make your mouth water?
Grab a freshly made coffee or smoothie, take in the sights, the aromas and listen to the music as you wander around. Plenty here to fill your kitchen including beautiful flowers and aromatic soy candles.
Helensvale Farmers Market is a must go to on a Saturday morning and will continue to expand and flourish. It is fantastic to have a farmers market up this end of the coast, so come along and support your local farmers and the community. The market is open every Saturday from 6.00 am to 11.30 am (rain, hail or shine) at the Helensvale State High School, entrance is on Helensvale Road, Helensvale. Parking in school or around side streets including Discovery Drive.
