The Healing ('New Beginnings') Retreat with Jasmine Wei will take place over 4 rejuvenating days, from 30th March to 2nd April, 2017 at  & #8203 ;658 Tomewin Mountain Road, Currumbin Valley QLD 4223 ( Ananda Rainforest Spa ) and 23 March to 26 March, 2017 at 96 Lurline Street, Katoomba, NSW 2780 (Blue Mountain Art House).Under the guidance of Jasmine Wei, a Meditation teacher and intuitively gifted natural healer, and Yanqi, Master from Shaolin Temple, medical department, participants will abstain from food and experience several meditation sessions. Possible benefits of fasting can include weight loss, improved brain function and improved immune system, while meditation can assist with pain relief, improve stress-related conditions and foster a feeling of "wholeness".Combining Chinese traditions with western and eastern alternative therapies, Jasmine has developed more holistic and integrated healing methods making her treatments intuitive, spiritual and effective. The retreat is open to men and women and aims to heal and strengthen the body, mind and soul. Participants should start the fasting process three days before attending the retreat - this will include avoiding food and beverages that contain added sugar, salt and fat.As part of the retreat, participants will engage with Ancient Taoist fasting and pranayama theory and practice; Detoxing liver mudra meditations; a Group Tai Qi walk in the National Park (or outdoor activities); Mer-ka-ba meditation; Solar breathing (recharge energy) / Tai Qi and many more enlightening activities.
