Hazelwood Park is a park in located in the suburb of Hazelwood in
Adelaide. The first ever creek pursues its path from the hilly region and straight through the park, where the water is flows from Gully Waterfall and into Tusmore park. This park features few picnic tables, play areas and barbecues. It is comparatively massive by the standards of a suburban public park, yet there are seldom playing grounds.
It is defined by big and old
Gum Trees which can be viewed from the blocks away. Even though it is facilitated well, it is generally not considered to be as famous as the smaller Tusmore Park nearby.
The park consists of the
Burnside Swimming Center as well, which has a kids pool of 25m, a wading pool and an outdoor lap pool of 50m. There is a steam and sauna room as well, in addition to two play fields and a kiosk. Anyhow, this facility is open during the summer months only, and it is very popular during summer holidays in Adelaide, especially when it is greater than 32 degree celsius, and it is open until late hours.
