Just at the junction of Browns Plains Road and Chambers Flat Road at Marsden lies Havenbah Park, a large, shady and attractive oasis in the midst of the traffic



The playground is small but adequate and very clean. Although there is no shade cover on the actual playground, there is plenty of shade under the surrounding trees and I suspect it may shade the playground in the early morning and late afternoon.



I was impressed by the mosaic seat - both artistic and practical. I can imagine small children exploring the shapes and colours.



Two picnic shelters are available and there is plenty of room for running about as well as a good path for prams and bikes.

You can park in Bunya Street if you want to get off the main road.
No car? Don't worry. The bus stops right beside the park.
