Want a sugar hit in October? Harvest Buffet at The Star now has an unlimited dessert buffet offer! For $20 per person, you can enjoy unlimited trips to their famed dessert bar. This is only available during the lunch time and dinner time dining on Mondays to Thursdays.


For passionate dessert fiends or for those who simply get absorbed in the aroma of sweets, feast on the colourful tarts and cakes stacked deliciously on the counter, enticing you to take just one more. Order the crunchy waffles, throw some cream into its grooves and finish with a spray of chocolate.


Pick up a tasty macaron or dig into a delicious mousse. Grab a scrumptious mini pavlova or lemon meringue, but not just one. Let's not be polite and refined about this; dessert is about grabbing hold of the moment. Carpe diem, seize the day, seize it now.


This buffet has three fabulous chocolate fountains. The last time I visited the Harvest Buffet, I embarrassed myself in front of my teen son, by skewering sticky blobs of marshmallow that went flying into the base of the chocolate fountain, sadly bobbing adrift while I endeavoured to retrieve them with another skewer. I promised Teen Faye that his parent will be better behaved next time. As he strode off, he mumbled, "There may not be a next time." With school holidays approaching, Teen Faye has almost forgiven me and is keen to re-visit the scene of mum's crime, although he is already considering sitting at separate tables.


Enjoy a glass of Yalumba dessert wine included in the price. This is a great deal for unlimited desserts and the Harvest Restaurant is a welcoming and spacious restaurant. This deal is during the lunch dining time of 11.30 am to 3.30 pm, and dinner dining time of 5.00 pm to 9.30 pm. When I have previously visited the Harvest Buffet, I found the staff very helpful and extremely professional. This is just one of the fabulous deals as part of Good Food Month at The Star . Throughout October, there will be excellent dining experiences including Italian, Cantonese and Japanese, elegant cocktails and a long lunch presented by The Star's top chefs. As well as all these events, The Star offers free parking from Sunday to Thursday when you dine at participating venues including Harvest Buffet. This parking deal ends 17 November 2016.
