Redcliffe is set to join the ranks of a growing number of Brisbane suburbs promoting local artisans, with the launch of the on Saturday 6th July, 2013. The seaside suburb is set to sparkle from 2.30pm with the local member for parliament officially opening the market and cutting the ribbon, and the first fifty people through the door receiving complimentary goodie bags.



The first of its kind in the area, the indie craft market has been created by innovator Janmaree Lowe, a local resident with a penchant for both her local community, and all things handmade - Handmade Redcliffe being a creative fusion of the two.



With over forty market stalls touting handmade wares including artwork, homewares, clothing, accessories and toys, these boutique-style markets are the perfect shopping destination for lovers and supporters of local, handmade, unique, and quality goods.





Roam and relax through the markets, soaking up the sounds of live music, the creative wiles of craft demonstrators and the aroma of enticing culinary delights such as wood-fired pizza and hot tea served in gorgeous vintage tea cups. Kids are welcome with free face painting from 2.30pm - 5.30pm.



The new twilight markets will be held once a month in the charming Woody Point Memorial Hall on the following dates:

Saturday July 6th 2013, 2.30pm-7.00pm
Saturday August 3rd 2013, 2.30pm-7.00pm
Saturday August 31st 2013, 2.30pm-7.00 pm
Saturday October 5th 2013, 2.30pm-7.00pm
