Adelaide local who loves her city
Published June 6th 2011

The art deco theme of the Hampstead Hotel instantly grabs your attention, and it makes you feel like you have stepped back in time; in a great way of course as deco styles never seem to go out of fashion.

Upon arrival we are always greeted by friendly, helpful staff who go out of their way to assist customers with anything they may need. I would highly recommend booking ahead as it is always busy there, lunch or dinner.

The food is outstanding and if you are close enough you can see the kitchen staff busily working away, which is an aspect I quite like.

The Hampstead Hotel has been an Adelaide icon for many years and is just waiting to be rediscovered by locals and visitors alike.

As always, I keep an eye on the prices and this hotel represents great value for money. Sometimes it's less expensive to go out for dinner than cooking it yourself so why not treat yourself and your family.
