The vibrant German town will be transforming the main street into a sparkling and colourful market - a CHRISTKINDLMARKT.



Visitors can expect a drop in by Santa Claus, as well as other family friendly live entertainment. Just the buzzing street in itself will be an amazing spectacle to witness.

All the main fun and festivities will continue over three whole days - December 16-18. Every night, the lights will be turned on and the party will begin around 5pm and continue throughout the night until approximately 10pm.

But don't think that local businesses will be fleeing for the night. All of the unique and renowned shops along the main street will stay open for late night trading.

This is the perfect opportunity to snap up some handmade/ one-of-a-kind last minute gifts from either the market stalls or the shops.

The popular town of Hahndorf is located just under 30km South-East of Adelaide. The most common route to reach the destination is along the National Highway M1, and then off of the Hahndorf/Woodside/Birdwood exit.

Parking can be found on any of the side streets leading off of the Main Street.
