Just wanted a simple take out snack walking along Acland Street before heading back to the city, and decided to check out
Grill'd and ordered the least filling item on the menu. Turned out it was the hot chips.
The establishment is clean, well organised and inviting. Makes way for great social conversations with great company if you are looking for a simple (yet classy) burger and chips lunch. Keep it simple. Trendy decor with great customer service.
For only $3.30 a pop, the snack size chips represented great (if not truly exceptional) value for money, and they were chunky as well making way for a rather filling snack beyond my expectations; I only had half the packet right away, and I heated up the other half at home later in the afternoon, which wasn't a good idea, yet the chips were still flavoursome, satisfying and tasty.
Expect chunks of natural salt sprinkles, and they come with herbs as well. Once again, best eaten fresh not heated up. Only come to this establishment when you are truly hungry, even for an in between meals snack.
