Gossip Girl is a syndicated TV show set in and around New York City. The story centers on the lives of several young adult characters that spend their days laughing, crying, loving, and living in "The City that Never Sleeps." The premise for the Gossip Girl TV show is the popular young adult novels. The plot lines sometimes follow those in the books, so if you're an avid fan of both the book and the TV show, you'll see a lot of similarities.

Speaking of seeing, how would you like to see the different places that are featured on the Gossip Girls TV show? You can by taking the , sponsored by Screentours. Tours are held every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 12:00 noon.

Where it is

You meet your tour group and guide at 51st Street and Madison Avenue. You'll be given an exact meeting location when you purchase your ticket, so you'll know exactly where to go.

How to get there

If you're staying anywhere close to 51st Street and Madison Avenue, you can walk to the meeting spot. Or, you can take the subway, a bus, or a taxi. If you're going with a bunch of girlfriends, and you want to split the cost, you can really make it fun by renting a limo or luxury car to take you to the drop-off site and pick you up approximately 3 hours later. That would be a great way to start your Gossip Girls Site Tour.

What you see

Some of the actual location settings you'll see include the following: the hotel where the Bass and Van der Woodsen families live, the Met steps and the NYU campus where Dan and Vanessa attend school.

In addition, the takes you to several places in and around Manhattan (Upper and Midtown) and the Lower East Side. There's no telling what else you might see there that may not have been included in the Gossip Girls TV show or on the tour. If a place catches your eye, simply note its address or something it's close to, and plan to visit later. (Maybe your driver will take you and your girlfriends back there after the tour).

What it costs

Ticket prices are $40 per person, with an additional $2 ticket fee. You can order online at Zerve, or call 212-209-3370. You need to do this well in advance, because this is a very popular tour, and its limited dates and time means it sells out quickly.
