Gordon Studio Glassblowers is not just a gallery with a difference, it's an experience. The glass blowing studio is situated in the picturesque landscape of Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula. But it's not just a gallery of fine glass sculptures. It is a working studio where resident artists and gallery owners Grant Donaldson and Eileen Gordon produce their intriguing skilful hot glass sculptures in front of live audiences. Not many opportunities exist for members of the public to view such a delicate and undeniably intricate forms of art taking shape in front of their own eyes. With only a few studios of its type open to the general public in the whole of Australia

Watch artists make glass sculptures
Viewers can watch the art of hot glass blowing from a mezzanine viewing area. The craft itself is ancient dating back thousands of years and visitors can witness artists creating their masterpieces using all the tools of the trade including a blowing iron and glory hole.

The Glass art gallery is open daily from 10 am to 5pm. It is a purpose built building with bright open spaces and rural views. Visitors can enjoy the warm homely atmosphere whilst enjoying a complimentary coffee, flicking through magazines and viewing the art works.Glass sculptures on show include bowls, abstract forms an even outdoor works resembling flora.
