If you're looking for a small park where the kids can play then try the playground at . It isn't anything big, but that won't stop the kids from having fun.

At the playground there are two slides for the kids to enjoy. A large one for the older kids, and a smaller ones that even young ones can tackle. Young kids will also enjoy playing with the noughts and crosses board, it is set up so that no one can actually play a proper game but they'll at least enjoy turning the pieces.

There is also a large field where the kids are able to run around, or where you can practice a bit of footy. There is plenty of open space, so you don't have to try and manoeuvre your way around trees. While the park is great for running around, it probably isn't the best place for a picnic. There are no picnic tables, and the grass can get kicked around a bit so you might not find a nice place to have a picnic. There are still benches if you're just looking for somewhere to sit down and relax.

The park is very close to the local shops, so you can use it to give the kids a treat for forcing them along on the grocery shopping. While isn't perfect, it is still a nice place to head to. Kids will always be able to make their own fun, but the slides will be a fun addition to the game.

This park may not be one that you'll take the effort to drive miles to, but if you're close by you might as well head there for some fun.

For other parks or ovals in the are check out the Burnside City Council's Website .
