They're the words every parent dreads to hear. And with school holidays fast approaching, mums and dads are under pressure to find activities to keep the kiddies happy. If only there was some sort of online calendar of school holiday events...
Luckily for New South Wales parents, there is.
Go Play is a website dedicated to listing school holiday activities and ideas. Hundreds of different experiences from over a dozen organisations are listed in one convenient location. The site includes art, cultural, sporting and recreational events and parents can search for activities by age, cost and type. Parents are also given information about the facilities available at each location.
A small example of the options available to children these Easter holidays include Aboriginal workshops, drama classes, a bush skills camp or lego building competitions. Families can enjoy picnics, museum exhibitions or bike riding in the park.
With the handy Go Play calendar, you can schedule a different activity for each day. They'll be too busy to whine!
