Come and join 46 of Australia's best gluten-free food producers at the 12th annual Gluten Free Food Expo this weekend, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st May 2017!
The Gluten Free Food Expo is Brisbane's fastest growing food and lifestyle show and it is set to be better than ever before at its brand new location, the Royal International Convention Centre, Brisbane Showgrounds!
This major two-day event is an annual celebration of Australia's best gluten free food producers, MasterChef cooking demonstrations and keynote presentations from medical professionals who specialise in the management of coeliac disease.
Look forward to live cooking demonstrations by MasterChef contestants Courtney Roulston and Michael Weldon who will be appearing on the Coles stage. Presentations with leading specialists will also take place on the Coeliac Queensland information stage - highlights include Dr Jason Tye-Din, Dr Emma Halmosm, Dr John Croese and Dr Rohit Gupta.
1 in 70 Australians live with coeliac disease and thousands more are gluten intolerant or choose a gluten free lifestyle. "This is a weekend where expo goers can sample and purchase the latest gluten free foods as well as enjoy an informative and fun weekend" said Coeliac Queensland Executive Officer, Glen Harriss.
"Following the huge success of 2016 where we had a record attendance of 5,216, up 66% from 2015, attendees stayed longer, and spent more than ever on exhibitor products. We are working on making 2017 our biggest year ever. The move to Royal International Convention Centre provides an opportunity to refresh the look and feel of the event."
