Hunters Hills Council is at again bringing you the 2016 Flicks'n'Eats where they are presenting two feature films, Oddball and Wall-E, plus food by local restaurants, refreshments & wine by the Bayview Hotel, live music, short films from the Sydney Indie Film Festival and much more.



The Gladesville Flicks'n'Eats will take place on Cowell St. (corner of Victoria Road) at Gladesville on **Saturday 22nd of October between 5pm and 10pm and what's even better is it is free entry.

From 6pm you can relive or discover the magic of Wall-E.

Is it possible for a robot to fall in love and save the world? Wall-E is an incredibly fascinating and equally sweet film of visual amazement, that will captivate kids as much as it will entertain "grown-ups"

**Then from 8pm, you can watch the flick that was based on a true story call Oddball.
**
This is a heart-warming Australian underdog tale is a film about a quirky chicken farmer and his troublemaking dog trying to protect a wild penguin sanctuary, thus trying to save their South Australian seaside town.

Short Films:

We will show some of the best and most exciting family short stories as part of the Sydney Indie Film Festival. These short films will provide the perfect frame for our two feature films.



They're funny, they're cute and we are sure you will love them as much as we do.

Food, Wine& Entertainment

Make sure that you bring a good appetite, family and friends to share the food with for Flicks'n'Eats, because there will be lots and lots of local businesses showcasing their skills:

• Italian Food (from Voro Italian Restaurant and Gourmet Pizza Pantry)

• Coffee and delicious bites (From Aussie Goodies Cafe)

• Gozleme.

• Thai (from Blue Chili and Thai Noodle).

• Sausage Sizzle.

• Popcorn.

• Bits&Bobs by Mama's Pantry.

• Chocolates (from Chocolart).

You can also pick up a beverage at the Bayview Hotel Pop Up Bar to complement your great food and then kick back and enjoy the entertainment.

They are also bringing some great live music to you.
Up on stage from 5pm will be the amazingly talented Jordyn Richards, The Soniks, handsome singer-songwriter Ace Avenue and Gypsy Dub Sound System!

There is limited street parking so you may want to take public transport or walk, but if you do want to come by car there is parking available until 12 Midnight in the Gladesville Shopping Village carpark- enter via Flagstaff Street.

So on Saturday 22nd of October between 5pm and 10pm, gather up your family and friends and head to the Gladesville Flicks'n'Eats 2016.
