Gippsland Food and Wine - Yarragon

I do not know what it is, but this place is pulling me each time I am on the road to or from Gippsland Lakes. Yarragon is a tiny spot on the map with a very short main street. However, this main street has a number of coffee shops or places where you can have breakfast or lunch.

The place I keep coming back to is Gippsland Food and Wine (Store and Tea Rooms). Why? I can not tell you, rather I can not put it into words. May be it is the building itself, very inviting and country-like. May be it is the inside of the place. It feels like stepping into not-so-long-ago historical setting. Or it can be the food and coffee they serve in their Tea Rooms.



Their breakfast and lunch menu are quite extensive. I personally keep coming back for Eggs Benedict and Latte.



You can also browse the store and come away with some Gippy Gems: local produce.



I dare you to stop by and have a look inside. Sit down at the window table and watch cars drive by. The world is happening outside while you are having coffee.
