Looking for a new hairdresser? You can't go wrong with Gia's in Kingsford. I always get my hair done in a white blonde with a bright colour or two underneath and on the sides. The quality of the service is excellent and in addition, the pricing is very conservative. All of the hairdressers are very skilled and pay a lot of attention to you.



I generally hate the atmosphere of hairdressers and when I have at times unavoidably left my regrowth for too long, some have gotten angry at me. This has never happened at Gia's. The atmosphere lacks the snobbiness encountered at many salons. In fact, the bubbly ladies and gent at Gia's are so committed to providing a delightful atmosphere that they check on you numerous times and ensure that you're comfortable. If it's quiet, you might get two or three people attending to you personally.



The salon itself is spacious and large, bright and well-lit. There is plenty of entertainment, including a large television visible from everywhere within and of course magazines. In fact, there was a refurbishment quite recently.



I highly recommend trying this cute salon. I've also seen many people get permanent straightening there, so I'm assuming the price is competitive for that service too. I recommend coming in, getting a quote and enjoying a hairdressing experience that will help destroy your fear of hair salons like Gia's did for mine. Today, I regularly saw many guys getting their hair tended to as well as many lovely ladies. On a side note, Gia's used to be called "Ellie's Hair News", so that's why regulars might recognise the address.
