It's not often that you'll see a comedy show with a title that deals with such morbid subjects, but that's where differs from your regular stand-up show. This show is the brainchild of Emily McCool and Kath Marvelley and comes as part of this year's Anywhere Theatre Festival 2017.

You may recognise the names as part of last year's extravagant show Tarnished Tiaras which featured them both doing what they do best. With however, the subject is mortality and as is often the way, those subjects which are the bleakest are the sources of the best comedy.

In a relatively short space of time, Emily McCool has gone from a relatively new face on the Brisbane comedy scene to having custom made billboards measured up in her honour. Her jarring combination of politics and smut catches you off guard and makes her difficult to classify. In a city where pretty much everyone considers themselves a comedian, Emily's unique approach makes her stand out and gives her originality.

Kath Marvelley has long been an improv collaborator with Big Fork Theatre and was the organiser behind last years Bris Funny Fest. She's an influential player in the Brisbane comedy scene and has been fine tuning her painfully honest act into something that will leave you in fits of laughter.

With only two nights on offer to catch these two, perhaps it's time you got your affairs in order and bought yourself a ticket.
