I think you'd agree that shopping costs too much these days. Grocery costs are rising , but this doesn't mean you have to deny yourself great fresh produce. Luckily you can head down to the Gepps X Sunday Treasure Market and discover some great bargains.
Everything's on sale
Located at the Wallis Cinema drive in at Gepps Cross, the market opens from 7:00am and sells almost anything you could imagine. Fresh fruit and veg, clothes, CDs, TVs, electrical goods, gardening tools, antique furniture, there's no limit to what you could find.
If you're looking to sell, you can do that too. Bring your ute, trailer, or truck and just set up wherever you want. The
sellers fee is reasonable, and make sure you rock up early to get a good spot. Entry fee for buyers is $1.50, and kids get in free. Parking costs $1, or you can park on Port Wakefield Road if it's looking too busy.
Fruit and veg are big sellers
Bring the kids and make a day of it. Junk-food stalls will keep you nourished throughout your journey as you search for the ultimate bargain. Some people come regularly for the cheap fruit and veg, some people come in hopes for finding a diamond in the rough. That person just might be you.
