I was just a visitor passing through town so I was not sure how old the park was but it looked new and it was too appealing for my children to pass.

The park stands out due to the elaborate graffiti art along one fence. It is interesting that that hasn't been vandalised. This is probably due to the fact that in 2011 VCAL students from Swan Hill College were involved in the creating this awesome graffiti mural. You can see the progress of this by clicking here .

The park was officially opened in late 2013. It was a community project that is obviously enjoyed by the community.

The equipment is new and perfect for adventurous kids. The very long flying fox is speedy and it bumps heavily at the end so there's a bit of screaming involved. This park features unique equipment, many that are (much loved) spinning based. All equipment has soft fall base so avoid major injuries.

The tyre swing was very popular. You can lie on it and have more than one person enjoy the ride at the same time. It swings high enough to induce a bit of laughter. There was a ride that was a bit like a see-saw bit it went round and up and down at the same time. It was very fast. I wouldn't want to be standing in front of it when it was spinning around. I think it could knock you off your feet.

The other thing that the kids loved was the climbing frame that looked a bit like a Spiderman web. It's a little too high for my liking but never it's high enough for my little risk taker.

There is an undercover seating area with a bbq and several other seats that will be shaded when the nearby gums grow. There were quite a few parents here on a winter's day being protected from the wind undercover.

This would be a great place for a family outing or special event. Apart from the new equipment there is a basketball court and a large flat-grassed area perfect for a ball game.
