is a beautiful spot in McLaren Vale to cook up a barbeque or set up a picnic. Enjoy the almond blossoms surrounded playground or head to the bmx track to perform some tricks.

The reserve features a fun playground with a slide and many different climbing frames. It encourages children to not only use their imagination when planning games, but also their mind and they find the best ways to get up, over, and across the playground. It is mainly suitable for older children, as some toddlers may have difficulty making their way up the ladders, and across the climbing areas.

There is also plenty of space for kids to run around the reserve. There isn't too much wide open space for playing ball games, but there are still small spots where you could kick a ball or throw a frisbee. Kids could have a great game of chasey, running amongst the almond trees.

There are two barbeques at the reserve, and an undercover seating area. You can cook up some food and enjoy it on the tables. This would also be a lovely place to picnic, especially when the trees are in blossom. Just be careful, if it has been raining the reserve can get quite muddy. There are no toilet facilities on the reserve, but if you cross the road to the Remembrance Gardens, you will find toilet facilities there.

Skaters and riders can also have some fun on the reserve. There is a dirt bmx track where riders can perform tricks and jumps. If you're into skating, then the large concrete half pipe will give you something to do. Anyone using the bike track or half pipe must be wearing appropriate safety gear.

This is a scenic reserve where there are fun activities for kids, teenagers, and adults. Set in the beautiful McLaren Vale region, you can find some great places to get fresh produce to enjoy on your picnic. Heading to the reserve could be a great way to unwind after an afternoon of touring wineries.
