Van harte welkom om de . That means welcome to the , coming to Akoonah Park in Berwick on April 8th. Being heralded as a revival of the 40-year old Holland Festival, this cultural event will be chock full of Dutch food and drink, live entertainment and ever so much more.

Live bands, choirs and singers will be performing in both Dutch and English as clog dancers take to the floor. Be sure to catch some of the all-day sjoelbak tournament. The heat will be on with over $5,000 in prize money to be won.

Kids will love the carnival rides in between strolling the cultural exhibits. See displays by the Dutch Australian Heritage Club, Dutch artists, authors and more. Purchase something with a distinctly Dutch flavor to take home and keep from the market, a windmill perhaps, a clog or a tulip.

As a special treat to share on your social media pages, take a selfie of yourself with the family with the largest wooden clog in the Southern Hemisphere.

You'll be able to purchase Dutch groceries, cheese, souvenirs and more directly from the Australian based importers, and enjoy plenty of other culinary delights with a wide ranging array of food and drink on offer – either for something new or to take you back home on a flavor-filled journey – by onsite food vendors. There will be hot Dutch meals alongside a choice offering of street food and a licensed bar. Please note: No BYO alcohol is allowed.

Major sponsors will also be on hand including Gazelle Bicycles, Tesselaars Tulip Farm, Scholten, Broersen Bulbs, van Diemen Bulbs and more. Plant a little Holland in your very own backyard. All proceeds raised by these sales is being donated to charities and Rotary community service projects.
