Anzac Day comes early to Gawler, the historic town north of Adelaide.

On Sunday 19th April there will be a parade up the main road ( Murray Street), starting off at 10.30am, followed by a commemoration ceremony in honour of those from the Gawler district who served in World War 1. The parade will feature 2 Pipe Bands and the Light horse Brigade, as well as soldiers from 7RAR based at Edinburgh, and veterans, cadets and students.

The ceremony will be followed by a community event at the Pioneer Park, with stalls, food and drink, band music and displays, including a special display from 7RAR. The event will run until 4 pm and supporters and well-wishers are encouraged to attend the parade and the Park.
