From the 26th of November to the 4th March,
GoMA (Gallery of Modern Art) will be hosting a magical land created by Pip & Pop, Nicole Andrijevic and Tanya Schultz, two Perth-based artists.
Created out of sugar, glitter, modelling clay and dozens of other weird and wonderful materials, the art installation is inspired by the fantastical worlds of children's stories, myths and folklore. Visitors will be able to walk through rooms and down pathways and peek into peepholes to see colourful landscapes.
we miss you magic land! will be in the Children's Art Centre as a part of GoMA's fifth anniversary celebrations. On display over the school holidays, the exhibition promises to be an enchanting introduction to modern art for the kids and enjoyable for parents as well.
