Outdoor art can be used for many things and found in many places, and often pops up in unexpected places. I came across while exploring Frankston and was pleasantly surprised to see the art work decorating the walls of the lane.

The laneway is not only used by pedestrians as a walkway to weave through the Frankston area but also by shop owners parking their cars.

If you are in the Frankston area and like street art, this laneway is well worth a visit. This is not graffiti art as such as all the works are mounted and then hung on the walls as they would be in a gallery, hence I assume this is where the laneway has derived its name.

The works come in all sizes and represent different levels of sophistication and styles. I watched several grandparents with their grandchildren walking along the laneway talking about the art and discussing what they saw, others were like me taking photos of what they saw.

Don't forget to look up as some of the artworks are quite high.
