For the ultimate arcade fun,
Galaxy World is definitely the place to be. Galaxy World Mega Centre at Market City is where I find myself, however there is a Galaxy World on George St. Unlike the mega centre however, there is no cafe or bumper cars. Though all the arcade games your heart desires are ready to be played.
From pinball, to ticket redemption games, to fighting games, to shooting games, to prize games, to driving games - both two & four players - to rhythm games, Galaxy World truly has it all. There are a few ways to play at Galaxy World. You can purchase a charge card, where the bigger you charge the bigger the bonus. For example $15 charge gives you a $4 bonus, $20 gives you $7, $50 gives you $20 and so on.
You can get continuous play which allows you to play for a certain amount of time and includes $5 worth of tokens. For example the Child Packis $8 and you get 30mins playing time and 100 etickets, and Deluxe Pack for $25 gives you 2 hours of playing time and 200 etickets. There are also Combo plays and party packages. The Junior Party for $15 which includes pizza, drink and cupcake, 30mins playing time, 100 etickets, a bumper car ride or 25 tokens. There is also the Maxi Party for $20 which includes pizza, drink and cupcake, 1 hour playing time, 200 etickets, a bumper car ride plus 50 tokens.
The bumper cars at Market City really makes this Galaxy World extra fun. There is just something about bumper cars that makes you want to go on them again and again. You only get to drive for 6 minutes at a time, but it's worth it. They are always having specials for the bumper cars, so it's good to stay up to date, so you know the best day to go to get the most rides from your money.
A good way to keep up with the specials is to like Galaxy World Market City on
Facebook.
