Once the country home of the Bishops of London and still owned by the Church of England, Fulham Palace is a fusion of architectural styles reflecting its history which dates back to 700 AD. The Palace's walled gardens were once encircled by the longest moat in England and it was here that a variety of plant species such as the American magnolia and azalea were first grown in Europe.

The extensive restorations on the Palace, completed in 2006, received the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors building conservation award for London, and visitors are now able to tour the historic rooms as well as the museum filled with artifacts from the Palace's past. The gallery offers a range of exhibitions and from the 16th to 18th of April the Palace is host to the Animal Art Fair.

Fulham Palace welcomes children, with activities such as the Easter Trail egg hunt and Easter Workshops for 5-12 year to keep them entertained during the holidays, as well as educational programmes throughout the year and a child-friendly cafe with special kids menu.

The long history and tranquil beauty of Fulham Palace combined with its convenient location make it a perfect city centre oasis for people of all ages.
