Today I was so lucky to see an advanced screening of Disney's Frozen, and so now having clicked this review I expect you want to hear all about this new movie, without any spoilers of course.

The movie definitely brings the Disney charm with a princess, prince, good guy and bad guy and of course lots and lots and lots of singing.

Frozen comes out on Boxing Day in cinemas in both 2D and 3D and is bound to be a hit, although I think it'd be a little more magical if it also snowed for real, but nothing beats a laid back Sydney summer on the beach am I right?

The movie brings the laughs for people of all ages and is just the right balance between serious dramatic moments and light comedic relief. There's of course a twist at the end, but that's as much as I can tell you to keep it strictly no spoilers!

The movie is without doubt a hit for all ages making a cinema filled with kids, adults and teens go "awwww" and laugh and have an all around good time.

Another fantastic aspect of Frozen is watching the beautiful animation of all the ice-crystals and features, I know it really has nothing to do with the plot but it is pretty impressive.

The characters are loveable, although I think the evil villains aren't as dark as classic Disney but what the hey. Also, as per Disney and Pixar tradition there is a little animated short at the beginning of the film, not sure if this is in all the movies but if so, it's an absolutely adorable and entertaining old style Disney animated short.

So if you're considering what to do after the Christmas rush definitely check out this light and entertaining film with the whole family.
