As the name suggests, Fringe in the Mall is a sampling of Fringe shows performed in, you guessed it, Rundle Mall. More specifically, under the Gawler Place Canopy. This is a fantastic way to preview some of the shows you might like to go and see, or just to experience something different. In the forty minutes or so that I was there, I saw dance, comedy, music, drama and a kids' show, so there is certainly something for everyone.

The artists come spilling out of a caravan and perform for a short time, after all, they don't want to give everything away. It is one of the few times at the Fringe you can get front-row seats and not pay a cent.

If you do wish to purchase tickets to any of the shows you are watching, it is made very easy for you as the box office is located just behind the caravan.
