Sydney Turf Club is staging Sydney's first ever Friday night thoroughbred race meetings at
Canterbury Park.
The seven-race program starts at 7pm with races held every half an hour.
The first 500 patrons through the gates will win before placing a bet by receiving a complimentary TAB mystery bet and all spectators have the chance to win big in the
Night Rider Jockey Challenge.
You can vote for the jockey you think will win the most races and be in the draw to win prizes such as Myer gift vouchers and Melbourne night racing travel packages.
Up to five runners-up at each night racing event will win two members tickets to Canterbury and Rosehill Race Meetings to use within the next six months, valued up to $144.
If you fancy your punting skills you can enter the tipping comp for your chance to win a double pass to a future race meeting and there are full betting options including the tote and plenty of bookmakers on course.
Ideal for an after work celebration or for family entertainment there will be plenty of on course action plus Melbourne's Moonee Valley racing shown on the big screen, live music, a ringmaster providing betting updates and conducting promotions, plenty of dining options and a Bacardi cocktail bar, complete with glow in the dark cocktail glasses.
